Not knowing any florist in the San Diego area I went to the Mortuaries web site to find what Florist served the area that they were located in. After reading the numerous positive comments about Precious Petals I decided to give them a try. I ordered on line, however had special instructions that required extra attention by the florist's staff so I called them the next day. To my surprise, they had already called the mortuary to ascertain the time and date of the services. The very pleasant young lady that I spoke to assured me that all of my needs would be taken care of. I called later in the day to find out that she had gathered all of the information that I required. I explained to her that an elderly Aunt would be calling from back east and asked that she help this Aunt with her flower order for the same funeral. The sweet young lady assured me that they would help her. It was reported to me later that they most certainly did, as my Aunt had nothing but good things to say about this florist and the same young lady that had assisted me! As the funeral was for a very special Aunt of mine I wanted the best. My Aunt's husband called after the services and funeral to rave about the flowers I had ordered and also those that my Aunt had sent through Precious Petals. As far as I'm concerned there is no other Florist in San Diego that will give you the Freshest of flowers, delivered in plenty of time at a very reasonable price, along with the quality, not only of their professional service, but also of their genuine understanding and caring when it comes to the fulfilling of your needs at a very sad and difficult time. If there were FIVE STARS for Florists, I'd give them to this quality florist and its kind staff!

I got some roses delivered to my girlfriend for her birthday and let me tell you that they were absolutely gorgeous. She LOVED them. She also said that the delivery person was very nice and courteous. The thing that I especially appreciated the most about the flowers is how fresh they are. No kidding they lasted just over 2 weeks. I have bought other flowers from elsewhere only to have them die in a matter of days. That sucks. Thank you Precious Petals for the great service and value. I will use no other florist.

I just ordered flowers from here for our business to send to a new client.  I had not seen these reviews on Yelp before I ordered or I might not have!  I spoke to Sherry on the phone and she was really nice and helpful. I told her our budget and what I liked, and she said she'd add a few extras to what I was ordering.  Above and beyond, I like that.  We received a note from the client a couple days later saying the flowers were beautiful.  Of course they wouldn't probably tell us if they were not good-looking, but I'm an optimist. I'd give 5 stars, except I can't for sure without actually seeing the flowers, so to be cautious, I'm going with 4.

Flowers lasted almost two weeks! You said people were always commenting on how long your flowers lasted and you weren't kidding! It's like the gift that keeps on giving. My wife loved them. At any distance Long distance birthdays can be hard on the emotions especially when it's your 89 year old mother. As we planned for her to be with us on her 90th next year here Canada I wanted something special for her. I found Precious Petals on the web and made a phone call.  I ordered a vase arrangement for my mother who is blind. I asked Sherry to make up something that had a lot of fragrance because my mother wouldn't be able to enjoy the sight of the flowers, but I wanted her to really enjoy the fragrance. She lives in a nursing home. My mother's nurse told me that the fragrance filled the room, and as some of the flowers died off, others bloomed, and lasted for many days and gave my mother great joy.
